ONTARIO, CA (August 3, 2004) – Dedicated to ushering believers into an abundant life in Jesus Christ through an evangelistic vision, Life Church of God in Christ will be holding its 9th Annual Koinonia Conference at the Ontario Convention Center. The annual conference, with 5,000 people attending, will run Wednesday, August 4 through Friday, August 6.
 
"The Ontario Convention Center has hosted many different religious events," said Amita Patel, OVCB's director of sales and marketing. "I just love the diversity these events bring to the Convention Center." Patel estimates the event to provide an economic impact of $700,000.
 
The Koinonia Conference caters not only to adults, but also to the youth and children through evangelism, practical teaching, and anointed worship experiences. The three-day convention will feature workshops on evangelistic ministry, worship services by guest speakers and musicians for adults, children ages 3 – 11, and youth ages 12 – 20. There will also be a luncheon on the final day of the conference.
 
Special speakers at the conference are Dr. Morris Cerullo, president of Morris Cerullo World Evangelism; Pastor Sheryl Brady, founder of the Triumphant Women of the Triangle (TWT) and the River Church in North Carolina; Evangelist Joyce Rodgers, founder of Primary Purpose Ministry Inc.; and Evangelist Robbye Wynn-Nicholson. A variety of musical guest will perform throughout the three-day conference including 2004 Dove Awards Nominees Martha Munizzi, Vicki Yohe, and Darwin Hobbs. Other music guests include Al Lafons George, R.E.M.I.D.I., and Steps of Praise. Also presenting at the conference is the Mime Boyz, a unique praise ministry that preaches through mime.
 
The conference will start at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 4; 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 5; and 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 6. Cost of admission range from $20 to $85 per person.
