Games Day 2005 includes:
- "Golden Demon" Painting Contest – gorgeously painted models depicted from The Lord of the Rings, Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000 will compete for the coveted "Slayer Sword."
- Costume Contest – Games Workshop imagery personified! Come as your favorite character from The Lord of the Rings, Warhammer or Warhammer 40,000 (weapons are prohibited).
- Banner Contest – From tattered back banners to inspiring army standards, banners have always had an important place in the worlds of Warhammer. Here is a chance for you to design your own!
- Art Contest – Games Workshop is known for the fantastic artwork in the books and magazines they produce. Now is the chance for you to showcase your talents and show off your drawings set in the Games Workshop universes.
- Kids' Coloring Contest – Kids under 10 will have the opportunity to color their own picture of a Space Marine, Rhino Tank or a Space Marine Dreadnought (Games Day will supply markers, crayons and colored pencils).
- Conversion Contest – Build the ultimate Warhammer or Warhammer 40,000 character! Games Day will provide a multitude of sprues to assemble your creation.
- Model Paint & Take / Terrain Make & Take – Design your own unique model or scenery for your gaming table at home.
- Tournaments – From the savage lands of the Ogre Kingdoms to the alien worlds of the Imperium, the scenery experts have created fabulous new tables in which to play.
- Seminars – Games Day will have sneak peaks at upcoming releases, discussions with sculptors and game designers and Trivia Fun!
- Games Day Store – Games day will be selling pre-release and special edition models; Black Library, Sabertooth Games and Warp Artifacts; T-shirts and more!
