ONTARIO, Calif., September 7, 2005 – Ontario's pulse is rising as it prepares to host the ADVANCE Job Fair Tuesday, September 13 at the Ontario Convention Center. Vital to the advancement of the medical profession, ADVANCE Newsmagazines' job fair will offer free career advice, an opportunity to meet with top area recruiters and a selection of continued education (CE) seminars.

Sponsored by Community Hospital of San Bernardino, Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center and Sansum – Santa Barbara Medical Foundation Clinic, the ADVANCE Job Fair will host representatives who will answer career related questions and accept resumes. The event will also offer networking opportunities and workshops.
 
"In the growing Inland Empire, the ratio of patients to hospital workers is increasing drastically," said Bob Brown, executive director and general manager for OCVB. "The ADVANCE job fair is designed to help regional medical centers address this situation."
 
Brown estimates the job fair will provide an economic will impact of $58,500 for the city of Ontario.
 
In addition to seminars and meetings, registered guests will have the opportunity to win a $500 vacation gift certificate, an I-Pod Shuffle or a $50 gas card. Attendees may also play Plinko to win free gifts.
 
The ADVANCE Job Fair is scheduled for Tuesday, September 13, from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Ontario Convention Center, located at 2000 East Convention Center Way. Admission is free.
