ONTARIO, Calif., October 24, 2005 – Striving to build a bigger and better Inland Empire, facility engineers will gather at the Fourth Annual Inland Empire Facility Engineering Show (IEFES) and Conference at the Ontario Convention Center (OCVB) to peruse the latest products and services allowing them to construct efficient, profitable, safe and functional building sites.
"The rapid growth of the Inland Empire, due to inexpensive land and available resources, is allowing companies to expand their main base of operations without incurring the high prices of nearby counties," said Bob Brown, general manager of OCVB. "The Inland Empire Facility Engineering Show and Conference will help building engineers keep up with this growth using the most current technology available."
Brown estimates the Conference will provide $75,000 in economic impact to the City of Ontario.
Sponsored by the Association for Facilities Engineering, the Conference is expected to host nearly 100 vendors. Product exhibits will include lighting and electrical systems, air filtration systems, surveillance and security, rack and shelving systems and roofing and commercial doors among others.
Focusing on government, industrial, hospitality, medical and educational buildings, warehouse facilities and the transportation industry, IEFES will also offer free seminars discussing topics ranging from waterless cleaning to the reduction of energy consumption.
The Inland Empire Facility and Engineering Show and Conference is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on both Wednesday, October 19 and Thursday October 20 at the Ontario Convention Center, located at 2000 Convention Center Way. Admission is free. For more information about the Inland Empire Facility and Engineering Show and Conference, please call (925) 701-0225 or visit www.iefeonline.com.
