SAWDUST EXPECTED AT ONTARIO CONVENTION CENTER

ONTARIO, Calif., January 30, 2006 - The most cutting edge demonstrations will take place during the WoodWorks show held Friday, February 3 through Sunday, February 5 at Ontario Convention Center. Shop for the latest woodworking products, meet legendary woodworkers and attend workshops for all skill levels and ages.

"Each year, the WoodWorks show is a dynamic event," says Bob Brown, OCVB's executive director and general manager. "There are numerous exhibitors showcasing the latest tools, amazing handcrafted items and one-of-a-kind woodwork that any hobbyist would enjoy."

The three-day event offers free skill building demonstrations to learn the tips and techniques of woodworking. Future woodworkers will have hands-on experience making a spiral bowl using a band saw at the Make-A-Memory Workshop. Discover the basics of how to use hand tools, learn the techniques of designing furniture and how to stain and finish wood products at the variety of seminars hosted by professional woodworkers such as Brian Boggs, Christopher Schwarz, Cindy Stewart and Garrett Hack.

The WoodWorks show is open Friday from noon - 6 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Ontario Convention Center, located at 2000 Convention Center Way.
