"With several multi-media projects on the horizon, we have an opportunity to create a distinctive audio brand," says Bob Brown, OCVB's executive director and general manager. "We are searching for an ambitious and talented person to share their voice and imagination while gaining voice experience."
Voice responsibilities will include podcasting, public service announcements, and the multi-media event information channel, "Convention Guest Network." These communication strategies support the efforts in promoting Ontario as the destination choice for event and meeting planners.
Anyone interested in becoming the "Voice of Ontario" must submit an audition portfolio to the Ontario Convention and Visitors Bureau by Monday, April 17. After reviewing audio demos, ten individuals will be selected and notified by phone for the talent call slated for Wednesday, May 3, 2006.
Audition portfolio must include the following:
- Contact information, biography and photo required
- 300 word maximum typed summary on why you are interested in becoming the "Voice of Ontario"
- A 2-minute voice demo on CD
- Submissions must be postmarked on or before Monday, April 17, 2006. Mail to: Ontario Convention & Visitors Bureau, Attn: Diana Huizar, 2000 Convention Center Way, Ontario, Calif. 91764.
