ONTARIO, Calif., May 10, 2006 – Ontario Convention and Visitors Bureau has hired Theresa Moretti as director of marketing. Ms. Moretti will oversee all marketing, advertising and public relations activities for the Ontario Convention Center and Visitors Bureau.  

"She has both operational facility experience and the ability to execute our expanding marketing initiatives," said Bob Brown, OCVB's executive director. "Her unique skill set will help us meet our growth and awareness objectives not just for the Convention Center but as a regional destination."

Moretti comes to the Ontario Convention and Visitors Bureau with more than ten years of experience in all areas of advertising and marketing project management, strategic planning and internal/external communications. She has worked for numerous agencies including Centric, Wilkin Guge Marketing, Schwartz Rahman Cadelaria and N.W. Ayer and Partners. She is a member of Southern California American Marketing Association and Public Relations Society of America Inland Empire Chapter.

Moretti is charged with regional destination positioning and awareness building, high-visibility community event promotion and facilitating venue growth objectives. Ontario Convention Center is an emerging leader in the convention industry and has positioned itself and the region for elevation into a second-tier destination.
