The Big Train Show Makes a Stop in Ontario

ONTARIO, Calif., June 5, 2008 – The Ontario Convention Center welcomes back The Big Train Show to Ontario June 7 & 8. The Big Train Show celebrates its 18th year as the largest selling G-Gauge Garden Railway Show in the world, and their second year bringing their trains to Ontario.

G-gauge trains are twice the size of a Lionel train and can be built right in your backyard. The Big Train Show kicks off the weekend with private home bus tours June 5 & 6 in San Diego, Anaheim, Riverside, Rancho Cucamonga, and Ontario, where train enthusiasts have built intricate landscaping for these trains.

"The Big Train Show had an amazing first year with us last year," said Bob Brown, president and CEO of the Ontario CVB. "We look forward to our continued relationship with The Big Train Show at the Ontario Convention Center, and we welcome the attendees to Ontario that come from all over Southern California to enjoy this great show."

The Big Train Show is open to the public Saturday, June 7 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, June 8 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday mornings kick off with how-to clinics that begin at 7:45 a.m. and most are free.
